The de-identified urine drug test results from electronic health records (EHRs) obtained from patients at participating hospitals are updated semiannually and posted on this site.
The Emergency Department Drug Surveillance (EDDS) system was initiated in Maryland, where it was piloted in seven Maryland hospitals. During the initial phases of EDDS with funding from the Office of National Drug Control Policy, EDDS was launched with 30 hospitals in 15 states across the U.S. To learn more about EDDS or to inquire about becoming an EDDS hospital, please contact us at cesar [at] umd.edu.
