CESAR is evaluating two opioid misuse prevention strategies in Carroll County, Maryland. Funded by the Maryland Opioid Misuse Prevention Program (OMPP), the strategies will increase awareness and understanding among residents and local law enforcement of the Good Samaritan Law and educate prescribers and dispensers about the effects of prescription drugs and the consequences of misuse and the importance of talking with their patients about these issues.
